The biggest upset of the week belonged to Neligh-Oakdale, who defeated 52nd ranked Elgin/Pope John, 30-16.
Creighton added to the longest winning streak in D1 District 6 (8 Man) this week by beating Niobrara/Verdigre, 84-6. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.
Cody Beckmann provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Bloomfield topped Plainview.
Alex Pelster put up the best numbers in passing as the Wolfpack lost to the Warriors. He had a total of 8 completions for 95 yards. Pelster's favorite target this week was Andrew Fangman, who caught 3 passes for 55 yards.
The leading receiver in the league this season is Seth Wilmes. The Creighton star has 13 catches for 263 yards.
The Bees' Beckmann is a mere 18 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season. Beckmann has rushed for 982 yards on 183 carries so far this year.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Jeff Jensen's team takes on Bloomfield. The Bulldogs are in first place, while Matt Kuchar's team is in third place.
The Cougars fell to Creighton 84-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Rylee Klawitter was a bright spot for Niobrara/Verdigre, as he ran for 81 yards in the loss.
