Patrick Kehoe and Theo Mordecai provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Westminster. The connection was good for 84 yards, the longest such play in Colonial this season.
Suffield Academy added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Gunnery, 50-14. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Tigers.
Kehoe threw for 554 yards and 6 touchdowns.
Kehoe put up the best numbers through the air as Cheshire Academy bested Westminster. Kehoe's favorite target this week was Matt Torrey, who caught 7 passes for 146 yards.
6-foot-4 quarterback Kehoe of the Cats is the league leader in passing yards this season with 2,292. He has also thrown 28 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Sam Blake. The Williston Northampton star has 23 catches for 469 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Tabor Academy takes on Williston Northampton. The Seawolves are currently in fourth, while the Wildcats are in third.
Tabor Academy moved up to 40 from 181 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Colonial. William Hrasky's team climbed the ranks as a result of beating Canterbury 27-7.
