West Rowan waltzed into their contest on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They put the hurt on the Concord Spiders with a sharp 7-1 win. Considering the Falcons have won eight games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Arabelle Shulenburger made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.
