Sultana is a perfect 10-0 against Hesperia since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Sultans will head out to take on the Scorpions at 3:15 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Sultana has six straight victories, Hesperia has ten straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Sultana had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Serrano on Thursday. The Sultans were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Diamondbacks. Considering the Sultans have won 13 matches by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Savannah Vanderpool made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. Vanderpool was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Another player making a difference was Aaliyah Huizar, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run.
Sultana kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They are 13-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Hesperia came up short against Apple Valley on Friday, falling 25-1.
Hesperia saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Malena Griego, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.
Sultana's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-7. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.7 runs over those games. As for Hesperia, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-17-1.
Hesperia's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Sultana has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .465. It's a different story for Hesperia, though, as they've only averaged .350. Will they be able to contain Sultana's hitters?
Sultana took their win against Hesperia when the teams last played on April 10th by a conclusive 13-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Sultans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
