Rhinelander had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 60-55 W against the Northland Pines Eagles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hodags also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Rhinelander's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Northland Pines, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-2 record.

Rhinelander will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Waupaca at 3:30 p.m. on the 30th. Northland Pines and Auburndale will round out the year against one another at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
