Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Vere Anthony, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
St. Francis Prep's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-1. As for Christ the King, their win was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-0.
St. Francis Prep will be home for the holidays to greet Xaverian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Xaverian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 200th, while St. Francis Prep is ranked 29th). Christ the King will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Friendship Tech Prep Academy at 3:30 p.m. on December 28th.
