Hilton Head Island suffered a tough 45-24 defeat at the hands of Richmond Hill. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Hilton Head Island has scored all season.
Hilton Head Island lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Deja Godsun, who scored nine points along with five rebounds. Godsun set a new season high mark in blocks with two. The team also got some help courtesy of Amaya Wroten, who scored ten points.
This is the second loss in a row for Hilton Head Island and nudges their season record down to 4-7. As for Richmond Hill, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3.
Hilton Head Island and Liberty will face off at 5:00 p.m. on December 21st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Liberty is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. As for Richmond Hill, they will head out on the road to face off against Greenbrier at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Greenbrier will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 371st, while Richmond Hill is ranked 133rd).
