Soccer Recap: Durant Has No Trouble Against Plant City

Durant kept a clean sheet against Plant City on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by an 8-0 margin over the Plant City Raiders. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Plant City from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Mykala Ulrich led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Durant has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those five contests. As for Plant City, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Durant will square off against Sumner at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sumner will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Durant surely won't give up without a fight. After both having extra time off, Plant City and King will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
