The Pinelands Regional Wildcats will face off against the St. John-Vianney Lancers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

If Southern Regional wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Pinelands Regional, they should've done a better job of containing Jayda Quigley. The Wildcats had just enough and edged out the Rams 3-2 for which the team can thank Quigley, who had 32 digs, 24 kills, and three aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.8 digs per game.
The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Pinelands Regional who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 23-25, 25-15, 21-25, 15-13.
Pinelands Regional got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Madison Wilbert out in front who had 27 kills and seven digs. Those 27 kills gave Wilbert a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley McQuaid, who had 11 digs and two aces.
Meanwhile, St. John-Vianney entered their tilt with Millburn last Saturday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They came out on top against the Millers by a score of 3-1.
St. John-Vianney walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-23, 20-25, 25-20.
Pinelands Regional's win bumped their record up to 21-3. As for St. John-Vianney, their victory bumped their record up to 11-1.
Pinelands Regional came up short against St. John-Vianney when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 2-0. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
