Christian Liberty is 0-4 against HomeSchool Resource Center since December of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The two teams will round out the year against one another at 12:30 p.m. at. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Christian Liberty scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Mooseheart 82-61. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Meanwhile, HomeSchool Resource Center waltzed into their match last Saturday with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 58-51 win over Rockford FIRE HomeSchool.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead HomeSchool Resource Center to victory, but perhaps none more so than Fredrick Jefferson, who scored 25 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. The matchup was Jefferson's third in a row with at least ten points. Mason O'Neal was another key contributor, scoring 24 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Christian Liberty has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for HomeSchool Resource Center, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.
Christian Liberty suffered a grim 69-44 defeat to HomeSchool Resource Center when the teams last played back in January. Can Christian Liberty avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
