Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Lexington

Lexington had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the McDade Bulldogs. The Eagles not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 19th (when they won 3-0).

One reason for the win was Lexington's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-15, 25-11.

Kailyn Keeling paced Lexington's offense, picking up ten kills. Keeling got some help from Emilia Bayer and her 17 assists. Bayer also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Shelby Brown, racking up three apiece.

Lexington's win bumped their record up to 15-9. As for McDade, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lexington will square off against Caldwell at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for McDade, they will challenge Rosebud-Lott at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
