The Founders Classical Academy Hoplites will head out on the road to face off against the Annapolis Christian Academy Warriors at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Founders Classical Academy has three straight victories, Annapolis Christian Academy has nine straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Founders Classical Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 29 points or more this season. They took their contest on the road on Thursday with ease, bagging a 53-10 victory over Living Rock Academy. With Founders Classical Academy ahead 37-4 at the half, the game was all but over already.
It was another big night for Jade Reynolds, who scored 20 points along with 9 rebounds and 8 steals. Reynolds is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Maddie Herzog, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Annapolis Christian Academy came up short against Woodsboro last Saturday and fell 34-24. Annapolis Christian Academy has not had much luck with Woodsboro recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Founders Classical Academy's win bumped their season record to 5-1 while Living Rock Academy's loss dropped theirs to 0-2.
