Despite the loss, Pennsauken Tech still got an impressive performance from Omari Spencer, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 14 rebounds. That was a full 52.9% of Pennsauken Tech's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Alex Melendez was another key contributor, scoring two points along with seven steals.
Clayton's win bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Pennsauken Tech, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.
Clayton the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Maple Shade at 12:00 p.m. on January 15th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New Jersey (Maple Shade is ranked 401st, while Clayton is ranked 378th). As for Pennsauken Tech, they will head out on the road to take on Gateway Regional at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Gateway Regional comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
