The Butler Lynx will head out on the road to face off against the Johnson Pumas at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Johnson took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Butler, who comes in off a win.
Last Tuesday, Butler didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Rowe-Clark, but they still walked away with a 42-37 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Butler.
Among those leading the charge was Ricardo Johnson, who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of DJ Taylor, who scored 10 points.
Meanwhile, Johnson had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 68-51 bruising from Boylan Catholic last Tuesday.
Butler's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Johnson, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Butler couldn't quite finish off Johnson in their previous meeting back in January and fell 60-57. Can Butler avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
