After a string of eight wins, Gulf Breeze's good fortune finally ran out  on Friday. They fell  6-3 to the Niceville Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  4-2  back in February.
  Tommy Regan made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  got on base  in all four of his plate appearances with one  home run and one  stolen base.  Nate Adams was another key player,  scoring a  run while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances.
Gulf Breeze's defeat dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Niceville, the  win was  the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-3.
 Coincidentally, Gulf Breeze and Niceville will both be playing South Walton the next time they take the field. The Dolphins will head out to face the Seahawks at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday, while the Eagles will head out to face them  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
