Pikes Peak Christian put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season on Friday. Everything went their way against Calhan as the squad secured a 47-6 victory. Pikes Peak Christian were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Pikes Peak Christian's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 32 points in the first half. Calhan came up with 6 to make it 32-6 heading into the break. The Pikes Peak Christian defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the contest. The match brought them to 3-1 and dropped Calhan to a mirror-image 1-3.
Next week Pikes Peak Christian take on Miami-Yoder at 7:00 PM. Pikes Peak Christian have bulldozed their previous three opponents, so Miami-Yoder might have their hands full. As for Calhan, they will face off against Simla.
