The biggest upset of the week belonged to Jo Byrns, who took down 182nd ranked Houston County, 20-14.
Clarksville Academy led A District 10 in scoring this week after putting up 34 points on White House-Heritage.
The Cougars' Jacob Rugen and Clay Goad have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Rugen has thrown for 880 yards this season, while Goad has 22 catches for 518 yards. Hunter Moran from the Fighting Irish leads the league in rushing with 798 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Clarksville Academy takes on second place Houston County. Clarksville Academy beat the Patriots last week, while Houston County lost to the Red Devils.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Brandon Clark's team takes on Tood Hood's team. The Fighting Irish have allowed 95 points this season, while the Cougars have given up 104. Houston County allowed 20 points last week as it fell to Jo Byrns.
McEwen made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 11,943 from 12,505. The improvement came about via a 21-20 victory over East Robertson last week.
