The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Windsor Locks/Suffield/East Granby in their matchups with Rockville: they've now lost five in a row.
Brady Ramsdell looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 116 yards and three touchdowns on only nine passes. Amir Knighton was another key contributor, gaining 38 total yards and three touchdowns.
Windsor Locks/Suffield/East Granby has yet to win a match at home this season, leaving them with a 1-8 record. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 9-1 Sports & Medical Sciences Academy/Bulkeley/Classical Magnet and 8-2 Granby Memorial/Canton (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 75.8% over those games). As for Rockville, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.
Windsor Locks/Suffield/East Granby will head out on the road to face off against Stafford/Somers/East Windsor at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Stafford/Somers/East Windsor comes in on a streak of failing to score more than six points in their last four games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Rockville, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Ellington at 6:30 p.m. Ellington will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Connecticut Rankings (they are ranked 110th, while Rockville is ranked 35th).
