Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Yuma). Everything went their way against the Cortez Colts on Tuesday as they made off with a 22-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Criminals, who have now won 11 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.
Eli Lujan made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had over his last two games. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
In other batting news, Yuma got a massive performance out of Andres Ortiz, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and four RBI.
