The El Dorado Christian Buffalos scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They walked away with a 55-45 win over Varsity Opponent. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for El Dorado Christian considering their 23-point performance the match before.
Breann Reasoner continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 21 rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last ten games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cassie Johnson, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
The win got El Dorado Christian back to even at 10-10. As for Varsity Opponent, they bumped their record down to 94-333 with that loss, which was their 12th straight at home.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. El Dorado Christian will take on Berean Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Berean Christian Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than El Dorado Christian in Missouri (Berean Christian Academy is ranked 200th, while El Dorado Christian is ranked 463rd). Varsity Opponent won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Rising Stars Prep Academy on January 23rd.
