The Punxsutawney Chucks lost against the St. Marys Flying Dutch back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Punxsutawney fell just short of the Flying Dutch by a score of 46-44.
St. Marys got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Quin Gavazzi out in front who scored 16 points. Louis Nedzinski was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five rebounds.
Punxsutawney has not been sharp recently as the team's lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for St. Marys, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-10 record this season.
Punxsutawney will be playing at home against the Flying Dutch at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully St. Marys focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Monday. As for they, they will head out on the road to challenge Punxsutawney at 7:00 p.m.
