It was a good run, but the Lehi Pioneers unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 71-43 loss at the hands of Incarnate Word Academy.
Loss or not, Lehi got some senior leadership from Addy Scrivner who scored 18 points and Kinly Faux who scored 7 points along with 6 rebounds. Scrivner scored a full 41.9% of Lehi's points, the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Sammie Love was another key contributor, scoring 7 points.
Lehi's defeat dropped their record down to 3-1. As for Incarnate Word Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Lehi won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Rigby at 6:00 p.m. on December 9th. One thing working in Rigby's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Incarnate Word Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Eureka at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
