The Lisbon Broncos's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They fell 45-32 to Hazen.
Lisbon's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Kyra Haecherl, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds, and Ryatt Wertman who scored seven points along with three steals. Those three steals set a new season-high mark for her.
Lisbon's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Hazen, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-7.
Lisbon will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Thompson at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Thompson's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last eight contests. Hazen will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Bottineau at 7:00 p.m. on January 12th. Bottineau is coming into the match hot, having won their last nine games.
