The West Shore Wildcats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They managed a 65-61 win over Bayside. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
West Shore was led to victory by Beau Couture and Christian Rebec. Couture dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds, while Rebec scored 24 points along with three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Rebec has scored at least 25% of West Shore's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Garrett Martin, who scored eight points along with five steals.
West Shore's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Bayside, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
West Shore will head out on the road to face off against Melbourne at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Melbourne is ranked 440th, while West Shore is ranked 456th). As for Bayside, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Vero Beach at 7:30 p.m. on December 13th. Vero Beach is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
