The Covenant Classical Warriors can now show off three landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They breezed by Valor Preparatory Academy on the road to the tune of 47-8. That 39 points margin sets a new team best for Covenant Classical this season.
Several Owls players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jalia Borden, who scored six points along with two steals.
Covenant Classical has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Valor Preparatory Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Covenant Classical will head out on the road to challenge Woodlawn at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Valor Preparatory Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Sugar Creek at 5:30 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in North Carolina (Sugar Creek is ranked 601st, while Valor Preparatory Academy is ranked 605th).
