Bowie's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tucker Jones, who scored nine points along with ten rebounds. Braden Rhyne was another key contributor, scoring four points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Bowie has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-14 record this season. As for Iowa Park, their win bumped their record up to 13-11.
Bowie will look to defend their home court on Friday against Jacksboro at 7:30 p.m. Jacksboro is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Iowa Park, they will head out on the road to challenge Holliday at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Holliday will be looking to extend their current 23-game winning streak.
