Meanwhile, Eupora came up short against Union on Tuesday and fell 45-34. While losing is never fun, Eupora can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 223rd, while Union is ranked 100th).
J.Z. George's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Eupora, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.
J.Z. George came up short against Eupora in their previous meeting on January 9th, falling 58-52. Can J.Z. George avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
