Augusta Prep Day lost 40-14 to Glascock County on Friday. The Cavaliers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-7.
Although Augusta Prep Day took the loss, they still got scores from Carter Chavous and Eli McFadgen.
Meanwhile, Windsor Academy gave up the first points last Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top against Thomas Jefferson Academy by a score of 28-15. The Knights' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
Windsor Academy found their leader in underclassman Chris Lamar, who picked up 121 receiving yards and a touchdown. Lamar was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield for a catch that went for 57 yards.
