Cooper really tore up the turf  during one magnificent 96-yard run. Purvis also got a significant boost from  Gabe Franklin, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 85 yards.
 Purvis was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 303  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've managed all season.
 Purvis' win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Wayne County, the  victory was their first  on the road , bumping their record up to 2-6.
