The Round Mountain Knights had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They managed a 40-34 win over Indian Springs. For Round Mountain, this counts as revenge for the 64-26 loss Indian Springs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2018.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Round Mountain to victory, but perhaps none more so than Blake Bullington, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Keiran Swafford, who scored ten points.
Round Mountain pushed their record up to 6-2 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Indian Springs, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
Round Mountain and Tonopah will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Indian Springs, they will head out on the road to take on Laughlin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nevada (Laughlin is ranked 105th, while Indian Springs is ranked 111th).
