The Providence School Stallions will be playing at home against the San Jose Prep Storm at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Providence School will be looking to keep their 16-game home win streak alive.
Providence School scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Trinity Christian Academy 69-17 on the road. Providence School has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.
Providence School found their leader in underclassman Ellie Vogelsang, who scored 16 points along with four steals. That's the first time this season that Vogelsang scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Miley Dill, who scored eight points.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, San Jose Prep's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 56-41 bruising from Bishop Kenny. San Jose Prep was down 52-31 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Providence School's victory bumped their record up to 19-2. As for San Jose Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.
