After losing to Caston the last time they met, Northwestern decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Tigers came out on top against the Comets by a score of 2-0 on Saturday.

Ayla Jackson paced Northwestern's offense, picking up eight kills. Jackson got some help from Nahla Smith and her 16 assists. Jackson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Northwestern's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Caston, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Northwestern didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Tippecanoe Valley on the 23rd. As for Caston, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Northfield on the 23rd.
