First Academy lost to Oasis Christian back in March of 2022, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. First Academy blew past Oasis Christian 19-8. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won seven matches by ten runs or more so far this season.

Dylan Bell was a standout: he scored two runs while going 4-for-5. Another player making a difference was Jonathan Scouten, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances.

Bell wasn't the only one working in the hit department: First Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 21 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

First Academy pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Oasis Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.

Coming up, First Academy is taking a road trip to challenge Lake Mary Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oasis Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Canterbury at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Canterbury will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Oasis Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
