Basketball Game Preview: Central City Value Jaguars vs. Animo Bunche Stallions

Central City Value has gone 8-2 against Animo Bunche recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Central City Value Jaguars will be playing in front of their home fans against the Animo Bunche Stallions at 3:30 p.m. Animo Bunche took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Central City Value, who comes in off a win.

Fans were treated to a Battle of the Jaguars on Wednesday. Central City Value came out on top against Aspire Ollin by a score of 64-54.

Central City Value's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Brandon Valencia, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds, and Andy Lobos, who shot 4-for-6 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 28 points and 12 boards. Valencia continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kurt Valencia, who went 5 for 12 to rack up 12 points along with five boards and three steals.

Central City Value smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in four consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Animo Bunche was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 62-30 loss at the hands of Downtown Magnets. The Stallions were down 48-20 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Animo Bunche's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Central City Value, their victory bumped their record up to 5-11.
