Basketball Recap: Woodson Falls Short of South Lakes in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Woodson can now relate to. They fell 68-60 to the South Lakes Seahawks on Saturday. The Cavaliers' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Woodson saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kaylen Chilton posted 18 points along with six boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of William Taylor, who scored eight points and three steals.

Woodson's defeat dropped their record down to 25-5. As for South Lakes, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Woodson nor South Lakes have any future games scheduled.
