The Decatur Seahawks's and the Crisfield Crabbers's contest on Wednesday was close at halftime, but the Decatur Seahawks turned on the heat in the second half with 49 points. Decatur blew past Crisfield 74-40 on the road. 74 seems to be a good number for Decatur as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Davin Chandler was his usual excellent self, scoring 18 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. Another player making a difference was Brycen Coleman, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for Decatur and bumps their season record up to 12-1. As for Crisfield, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
Decatur will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Snow Hill at 2:00 p.m. Snow Hill is coming into the match hot, having won their last 13 games. As for Crisfield, they will face off against Wicomico at TBD on Tuesday.
