It was a good run, but the San Lorenzo Valley Cougars unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a serious blow against Foothill, falling 66-31.
Cade Memeo was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 15 points along with 4 steals. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Trace Farrelly, who scored 9 points.
San Lorenzo Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Foothill, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.
San Lorenzo Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Kirby Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Kirby Prep will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 1273rd, while San Lorenzo Valley is ranked 364th). Foothill's road trip will continue as they head out to face Fairfield at 5:00 p.m. on December 14th.
