Volleyball Recap: Waller Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Marley Eckerman and Kristin Nichols

It was a good run, but Waller unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Centennial Spartans.

Despite the loss, Waller had strong showings from Kristin Nichols, who had 15 digs and four assists, and Marley Eckerman, who had eight digs and six assists. Nichols is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Waller's defeat dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Centennial, their victory bumped their record up to 15-6.

Waller is on the road again on Friday to play Klein Cain at 9:00 a.m. As for Centennial, they will take on Temple in a tournament on Friday.
