Sebastian Avila posted a new career-low in hits on Friday. He made a splash, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over four innings pitched. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Livingston last Tuesday, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Avila also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Dayton is undefeated when he allows at most two earned runs, but 5-11 otherwise.
