Rialto is a perfect 4-0 against Bloomington since September of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Knights will be playing at home against the Bruins at 7:00 p.m. Rialto will be strutting in after a win while Bloomington will be coming in after a defeat.
Rialto had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 22-point drubbing they dealt Arroyo Valley on Thursday. The Knights blew past the Hawks 28-6. Considering the Knights have won four contests by more than 21 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Rialto's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Geonie Seeney led the charge by rushing for 95 yards and one score on only nine carries, while also throwing for 60 yards and one touchdown while completing 80% of his passes. Markell Carroll was another key back, rushing for 80 yards and one TD.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Rialto was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 266 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 236 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Rialto's defense and their three sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Angel Rivas. He is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made seven or more in each of the last four games he's played.
Meanwhile, there was early excitement for Bloomington after they claimed the first score on Thursday, but it was Carter who ended up claiming the real prize. The Bruins came up short against the Lions, falling 36-14. The Bruins were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-8.
Bloomington now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Rialto, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.
Everything came up roses for Rialto against Bloomington when the teams last played back in October of 2022, as the team secured a 45-8 win. In that matchup, the Knights amassed a halftime lead of 24-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
