Phinizee Came Up Big in Russellville's 44-13 Victory
Cameron Phinizee continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his 20th-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least 105 rushing yards. He rushed for 196 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also picked up 35 receiving yards. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 82-yard run.
West Point had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Phinizee it was a similar story. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Phinizee saw the Warriors), he rushed for 230 yards and five touchdowns on only 11 carries.

Jake Harper's Big Game Leads Fairview over Sardis
Jake Harper's big game helped extend Fairview's winning streak to seven on Friday. Harper did his part (and then some), rushing for 251 yards on only 13 carries for the 'W'. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 121 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Fairview's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Harper and Fairview have the luxury of staying home for another week and will welcome East Limestone at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Ollie Howell Delivers Best Performance of Season
West Point came up short on Friday despite Ollie Howell delivering his best game to date. Howell rushed for 187 yards while picking up 9.8 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 59 yards.
On the year, Howell has averaged 87.8 rushing yards per game.
