Volleyball Recap: Chattahoochee's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Chattahoochee can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They came out on top against the Mountain View Bears by a score of 2-0. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bears, too.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Chattahoochee was: they took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-9.

Gabby Ishmael paced Chattahoochee's offense, picking up seven kills. Ishmael got some help from Isabella Podesta and her 12 assists. Ishmael was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Chattahoochee's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Mountain View, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Coming up, Chattahoochee will face off against Roswell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mountain View, they are taking a road trip to challenge Parkview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
