The Fairview Apaches won the last time they faced the Hicksville Aces, and things went their way on Thursday too. Fairview breezed by Hicksville on the road to the tune of 59-21. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-12.
Despite the loss, Hicksville still got an impressive performance from Ashlyn Steury, who scored six points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Steury has scored all season.
The win makes it two in a row for Fairview and bumps their season record up to 2-1. As for Hicksville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
Fairview will head out on the road to face off against Ottawa-Glandorf on Saturday. Ottawa-Glandorf presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Fairview in Ohio (Ottawa-Glandorf is ranked 15th, while Fairview is ranked 284th). As for Hicksville, they will be playing at home against Hilltop at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
