St. Frances Academy will square off against Pallotti at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The last four games St. Frances Academy has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
While St. Frances Academy's win against Sts. Peter & Paul wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers skirted past the Sabres 6-4. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Sabres recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Dorian Goldston and Joseph Cooper did most of the damage at the plate: Goldston scored a run and stole two bases, while Cooper scored a run and stole three bases while going 1-for-3. Cooper is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Mason Hodges was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases.
Meanwhile, Pallotti was able to grind out a solid win over Jemicy on Monday, taking the game 9-5. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.
Pallotti let Ryan Cobb-Davis and Gus Chackmakian-Lodge run wild. Cobb-Davis scored three runs and stole four bases while going 3-for-4, while Chackmakian-Lodge scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-4. Pallotti is undefeated when Cobb-Davis posts two or more runs, but 3-7 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Jerry Stanislaus, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Pallotti kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are 2-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
Pallotti's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-7. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for St. Frances Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2-1.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. St. Frances Academy has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 8.6 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Pallotti struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
St. Frances Academy couldn't quite get it done against Pallotti in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 as they fell 8-3. Will St. Frances Academy have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other baseball content.
