Titusville is 5-0 against the Bears since November of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. Titusville scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They breezed by Astronaut at home to the tune of 51-16. That looming 51-16 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Titusville yet this season.
Titusville's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Kennedie Sanders, who scored 13 points along with six steals, and Braniyah Brown, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds. It was the first time this season that Brown scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Jamaria Stephens, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Bayside was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 46-42 to the Commodores. Bayside has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Titusville has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-12 record this season. As for Bayside, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9.
