The Browne Bruins lost against the North Mustangs last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Browne fell to the Mustangs 57-52. Browne has not had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
When it comes to explaining why Browne lost, one person who can't be blamed is Desmyn Beavers-smith. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds. Adam Chaffin was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
North had a senior duo take command as Vicente Castro scored 13 points and Paris Walker scored eight points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Trystan Williams, who scored four points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Browne has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-16 record this season. As for North, their win bumped their record up to 10-14.
Browne does not have any more games scheduled as of now. North also has no future games currently scheduled.
