Despite the loss, Jacksonville Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Noah Lee dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds. The contest was Lee's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Bryson Dowdey was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Spring Garden's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Jacksonville Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.
Spring Garden will be playing at home against Trion at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Jacksonville Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Cedar Bluff at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Alabama (Cedar Bluff is ranked 382nd, while Jacksonville Christian Academy is ranked 390th).
