The Mt. Pleasant Vikings will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Waynesburg Central Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th.
Last Saturday, things could have been worse for Mt. Pleasant, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 66-50 loss to the Trojans.
Meanwhile, Waynesburg Central got the win against the Trojans on Saturday by a conclusive 58-38. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Waynesburg Central.
Mt. Pleasant has not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Waynesburg Central, their victory ended a 13-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-9.
Mt. Pleasant strolled past the Raiders in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 70-53. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mt. Pleasant since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
