Frankton came out on top against Mt. Vernon on Tuesday thanks in part to Zoey Coppess's efforts. Coppess produced her best game of the campaign: she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
