The Georgetown G-Men's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 59-22 loss at the hands of Fayetteville-Perry. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Georgetown has scored all season.
Ryley Kleemeyer was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 14 rebounds for Fayetteville-Perry. Those 14 rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Christina Murphy, who scored 12 points along with five steals.
Georgetown's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Fayetteville-Perry, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Georgetown will take on West Union at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Fayetteville-Perry, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Batavia at 7:30 p.m. Batavia is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
